This new above grade electrical vault was installed in the grade level of an exisiting parking garage. This new 3000 KVA 12.5KV/480Y/277v service replaced an existing 1,000 KVA padmounted transformer on the site and in additional to reserving that load, provided the adition capacity of the new five story hotel

This facility of over 300,000 sq.ft. in size has been located at the intersection of NW Highway and N. Independence in Oklahoma City since 1964. In the early 90s, the administration undertook a bold new renovation and updating of almost the entire facility. Over the next 15 years, PSA provided MEP Design and Construction Administration service for almost every project and every floor exept for a small are in the first floor level was renovated. The revisions also included extensive HVAC and Plumbing revisions and all wwas accomplished without any planned outages as healthcare continued to be provided in the facility 24/7. Major additions included a new Inpatient Laboratory at the SE side of the facility, a Womens Center and Surgery Additions on the north side and the addition of a new ten story medical office building at the SW part of the site and a new parking garage on the west side of the site. A separate new NE Electrical Vault was added to provide a new electrical source of ver high quality power through an extensive arrangement of new and relocated emergency generators and power quality of UPS and/or equal power for sophisticated medical and computer equipment

The 70,000 sqare foot expansion and 36,000 square foot renovation of this existing facility was completed in Decmeber of 2002 at a cost of approximately $14 million. The project was phased to allow for continued operation of the City's police department and emergency services. The expansion included a new underground secured parking for the police, new city jail with holding and booking area, police investigative offices, city municipal offices and new Emergency Operation Center and 911 Dispatch. The design and construction allowed for a smooth transfer of its emergency functions.

Judicial Center

The new award winning project includes 56,000 sq.ft. of space to be renovated and an addition of 89,000 sq.ft. of new space on the 20-acre Capitol Park site. The restoration will retain orignal finishes and architectural elements and match the material and detail of the original in the new work while the exterior design seeks to find an acceptable relationship between the historical and the new. The Oklahoma Judicial Center will become the new home for the Supreme Court of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals that are currently housed in the State Capitol Building. The project earned a citation for excellence from the National Center for State Courts.

Other Projects
American Airlines Automated Storage
American Airlines Automated Storage and Retrieval System warehouse facility. First robotics controlled supply warehouse on American's system. Maintenance components as small as transitors used in aircraft communications systems and as large as turbine engines for 767 aircraft are stored and processed in and out of the facility to meet demand by the robotics system. This 3,000 square foot computer facility housed equipment which served the automatice retreival and storage system. The project required 100% redundant chilled water/DX cooling and a combination pre-action we pipe/Halon 1301 Fire Suprresion System.
